Book review of Staking His Claim (Line of Duty #5) by Tessa Bailey

ARC provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

He wants her. All of her.

NYPD sniper Matt Donovan is in Hell. Instead of driving his best friend’s little sister home from college, he’s stuck with her roommate—a fresh-faced ray-of-sunshine with a body that makes grown men weep. There’s no way he’ll allow himself to taint the little vixen, no matter how hard she tries to tempt him, so he resigns himself to the longest—and hardest—drive of his life.

Matt’s obvious attraction suits grad student Lucy Mason just fine. She had no idea her brother’s best friend was so deliciously hot. Knowing he’d never have his wicked way with his buddy’s sister, she lies about her identity and seduces him. But Matt’s no fumbling college boy. His desires run deep—and dark—and he wants to teach Lucy what wicked really means.

Matt’s demanding appetites only make Lucy want more. But when her cover's blown, he’s furious—even as his hunger for her becomes insatiable. Matt can’t trust anyone, least of all himself. And he knows all too well that darkness always destroys the light…

Melody: Thank you Entangled for allowing us to review this book!  Every book I have read from you guys has been amazing.

Betsy: Um... Yea!!!

Melody: This is the last in the series?! TESSA SAY IT AINT SO! Pleaseeee don't do this to me!  I had no idea there was another line of duty novel and when I read the synopsis and read "sniper" I did a double take & a happy dance.

Betsy: When Melody told me about it I thought sniper and started fanning my vagina lol.

Betsy: Seriously, Tessa. STAHP. You have ruined real life men for me. Where am I going to find a Sniper hottie who takes advantage of me in parks!? Waaaaah.

Melody:  As always Tessa knows how to deliver! You know you love a book when you wish it was longer! I adored the characters! After asking for trouble I was left intrigued by Brent's family and I was happy to read his sisters story in this installment. It was also nice to see the whole crew and catch glimpses of their happily ever afters.

Betsy:  I agree with Mel. One of the reasons I love these books so much (aside from the fact that Tessa is a BAB) is because we get to read about most characters in the books. It's so nice and refreshing to get their stories. Especially when they're all super hot.  I'm really going to miss all these characters but I will definitely be rereading them often!

Melody: Needless to say, Tessa Bailey is on auto-buy forever!
