Hey, Bookcrastinators! We truly love meeting and talking books with fellow readers, authors, and bloggers. Meet Devin from Devin Reads! Check out all her info and interview below. Also, make sure to scroll all the way down for a Giveaway she's hosting! HAPPY READING!

My name is Devin. I am a 22 year old college graduate.
I have a degree in Business Administration.
I want to eventually go to culinary school for Baking and Pastry Arts.
I hope to eventually open up a bakery in the Nashville, TN area.
I live in North Carolina, for now.
I, of course, love to read. A lot.
Unfortunately I'm not a very fast reader.. But I do what I can. Haha.
My favorite genres to read are YA, Contemporary, and Dystopia.
My favorite authors include Katie McGarry, John Green, Veronica Roth, and Suzanne Young.

Why did you decide to start blogging?

Simple, because I love reading and I wanted to share that love with other people! Before I decided to start my own blog a few months ago, I would spend hours on other blogs and watching BookTube videos. Finally, I gave in and decided to start a blog of my own!

Who is your fictional boyfriend?

Noah Shaw, from the Mara Dyer series. Why? BECAUSE HE’S AMAZING. I guess you just need to read the book(s) to find out just why he’s so amazing. Haha.

If you could be a fictional character for one day which one would it be and why?

I think that I would have to pick Tris from the Divergent trilogy. I think that her life is so adventurous and full of action. Mine, the complete opposite. I think that it would be fun to see what it was like to be a complete beast haha.

If you could only keep one book for the rest of your life which one would it be?

This is such a hard question. Can I keep a trilogy instead? Cause if so, I’d definitely choose the Mara Dyer trilogy (even though the third book hasn’t come out yet.) The first two books were so amazing and I know that I would love to read them over and over again.

What top 3 series do you recommend?

I haven’t read too many series, to be honest. I haven’t even read Harry Potter or The Huger Games! (Yes, I know. I NEED to!) But a few of my favorite series are Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins (Anna and the French Kiss, Lola and the Boy Next Door, and Isla and the Happily Ever After), Pushing The Limits by Katie McGarry (Pushing The Limits, Dare You To, Crash Into You, Take Me On), and lastly Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin (The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer and The Evolution of Mara Dyer). All amazing books, for sure!

Do you prefer e-reader or physical copy?

I know that some people prefer one or the other, but I actually like both. I like being able to have a physical copy because I like to be able to see how far I am in the book, and to just you know.. feel the book. But then there are times when I don’t want to have to hold this HUGE book, so an e-reader comes in handy for that!

What book made you fall in love with reading?

I battle severe depression and I have for about 10 years now. Sometimes it can get very overwhelming and very hard to deal with. I discovered about 2 years ago that reading helps so much. It allows me to take a break from my world for a little while and to dive into another. I use reading as somewhat as an anti-depressant. Of course that isn’t the only reason I love reading. Reading is fun!

What is your favorite book to movie adaptation?

This is another hard one. I think I will have to go with The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I think that both the book and the movie are so amazing. They did a really good job making the movie spot on with the book. They are both something that I wouldn’t mind both reading and watching multiple times and not get tired of it.
