Book review of Reaper's Stand (Reapers MC #4) by Joanna Wylde

As Reapers Motorcycle Club president, Reese “Picnic” Hayes has given his entire life to the club. After losing his wife, he knew he’d never love another woman. And with two daughters to raise and a club to manage, that was just fine with him. These days, Reese keeps his relationships free and easy—he definitely doesn’t want to waste his time on a glorified cleaning lady like London Armstrong.

Too bad he’s completely obsessed with her.

Besides running her own business, London’s got her junkie cousin’s daughter to look after—a more reckless than average eighteen-year-old. Sure she’s attracted to the Reapers’ president, but she’s not stupid. Reese Hayes is a criminal and a thug. But when her young cousin gets caught up with a ruthless drug cartel, Reese might be the only man who can help her. Now London has to make the hardest decision of her life—how far will she go to save her family?

Every time I read a new Reapers MC book, I always say it's the best one yet.  So obviously Reaper's Stand is my new favorite! Speaking of favorites, I just have to add something.  I've read my fair share of Motorcycle Club books and Joanna has the best Motorcycle Club series, by far!

Can we talk about the beginning of the book? It was sort of like in Reaper's Property where you start off in a future event which leaves you like "OH MY GOD WHAT IS HAPPENING?!" "WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?" and then you're thrown into a few weeks earlier.  I was eager to know how they reached that point but I also wanted to devour their story slowly.

I've been a huge fan of Picnic for a long time, his story always kind of broke my heart and I've always wanted to be in his head and watch him have his HEA.  I really enjoyed the moments where he thought about his ex-wife (I want to say more but I don't want to spoil it for you guys!).

We first get a glimpse of London at the end of Devil's Game (if you're big fans of Devil's Game & everything Hunter & Em, then you're gonna be very happy to know they have appearances in Reaper's Stand).  When we get a glimpse of her, we don't really learn much about her.  I think she really stood out as an amazing character and my heart literally hurt for her many times.  Jo really blew me away with this installment.  I cried in the ending and I rarely ever cry with books!

Everything about this book was perfect. The pace, suspense, characters and DRAMA!

And can we talk about that ending? I NEED TO KNOW right now!

Seriously, if you love MC books and haven't picked up this series, DO IT NOW.  Do yourself the favor of ordering Reaper's Stand.
